General Terms and Conditions (GTC) 2nd Peak GmbH

Sale

The sale value of your item is generally between 40 – max. 60% of the original price. For the items that 2nd Peak GmbH purchases from you, you will receive at least 1/4 of the sale price directly in cash or by bank transfer.

Quality

Only clean goods in perfect condition. For our upcycling project, we are also happy to accept goods that are no longer saleable and old climbing ropes (without payment). 2nd Peak GmbH reserves the right not to accept goods. For soiled goods, we must deduct CHF 5 per item from the payout amount.

Backpacks, child carrier backpacks, bags, trekking poles, snowshoes, knives

Mountain equipment

Crampons, ice axes, probes, avalanche shovels, ski touring poles

Camping

Lightweight tents, mats, cooking accessories, lamps, binoculars, sleeping bags

Equipment

Old climbing ropes for upcycling into rope mats (without payment)

 

NO

  • Underwear, cycling shorts, socks, used hydration systems
  • Safety-related equipment (helmets, climbing gear, etc.)
  • Skis, snowboards, cross-country skis, alpine ski boots, snowboard boots,
    Cross-country ski boots
  • No items from own brands of discount stores

 

Right of return

  • Second-hand goods cannot be exchanged or returned.

 

Quality guarantee

  • 2nd Peak GmbH assumes no guarantee for defects in second-hand goods.
  • In the event of defects that only become apparent after purchase, 2nd Peak GmbH may pay an ex gratia amount.

 

Acceptance of goods

Drop-off times as stated on the website.

 

Liability

2nd Peak GmbH accepts no liability whatsoever for damage caused by improper use of the goods.
